What a crazy way to treat a customer over a £20 billing error. Eventually they said they would credit my account, but it had to be signed off by a director first! So I was instructed to ignore any more collection emails that might come in the meantime. In hindsight it would have been easier to pay up rather than have to endure collection emails, having to send photographic proof of quote, and a phone call which I admit I lost my temper due to the complete incompetence I was facing. Unfortunately I did still have to deal with the office as they contacted me about an 'underpayment' that wasn't on my quote or original invoice. He had some choice words that would be unfair to repeat here.
